Fossilised leaf found in Jharkhand: Over 150~200 million old leaf

  FOSSILISED LEAF OVER 150~200 MILLION YEAR OLD FOUND IN JHARKHAND IF YOU ARE SEARCHING:- FOSSIL LEAF IN JHARKHAND / FOSSILISED LEAF OVER 150~200 YEAR OLD Geologist have found fossilised leaves in jharkhand from jurassic period According to the geologist it is estimated that the leaf is around 150~200 million year old and it was found in sahibganj district of jharkhand it was exactly found in Dudhkol mountain in Taljhari area.  Sahibganj PG Collage geologist Ranjit Kumar Singh said that the leaf was around 20cm b 5cm and it was the fossilised leaf of genus pitlophyllum . And he said that further excavation was underway we might even find dinosaur eggs during further excavation. These leaves were consumed by the herbivores dinosaur.Smaller fossil  from the upper  jurassic period to the  cretaceous period were found earlier.
